# Extreme pressure on the controller

why do I have to exert so much downward pressure on the  
controller to get a reaction and when I get an updraft  
it is almost impossible to reverse it. tks

Hi Charles,

Could you please let me know what controller you are using and how you have it mapped, including any sensitivity settings.

I am assuming you are talking about the cyclic, by the way?

Yes I am using the honeycomb yoke, and the sensitivity settings are zero  
And I brand using the guide on the user manual.

I have the Alpha but i wouldn’t use it to fly helicopters with, at minimum you would need a joystick to get the “feel” of the cyclic which you won’t get with an aircraft yoke, make sense?
