Controls too laggy

In VR ? Wow…give it another try when you get around to reinstalling 2020 mate.

Tony

no, 2D. I switched to 2D, as you blamed my VR setup, but the issues remain.

Re-installed MSFS to try the new update. No change. It’s still awful.

I must say that I agree about the control response being far too laggy. I have a PPL (rotorcraft) license here in the USA and, although all of my flight time is in Robinson piston helicopter, I personally find the FlyInside Bell 47 impossible to hover with any precision at all. It’s simply too unstable for any helicopter simulation and I actually find the two new default helos in MSFS2020 SU11 more realistic overall, despite many shortcomings with both.

I understand that FlyInside developed their own flight dynamics which function outside of the normal physics of MSFS2020, and this may lead to some inevitable compromise as the FI Bell 47 is a non-native flight model to the platform.

Perhaps future versions of the FI Bell47 will be able to make use of the new helicopter physics included on the MSFS2020 platform since the release of the SU11 update, but the current iteration of the Bell 47 is just not flyable. I’m sure real-world helo experience makes one over-critical in this circumstance, but I feel like the MSFS2020 foundation should at least render a better flight experience than the FlyInside Bell 47 is currently offering.

Just my .02 cents. :raised_back_of_hand:
