Noticed that the air filter temps never seem to change with cold weather. Took off in Alaska and it was 20C outside but temp gauge shows at 50C+. I was expecting to have to fiddle with carb heat. Is this not simulated?

Good question I also saw this behavior and can’t believe the carb heat is just for decoration.
It does get colder as the helicopter rises in altitude; however, it does not reflect the outside temperature.
Thanks for the feedback all. We don’t currently simulate carb icing, and our OAT is referencing an internal atmosphere model rather than interfacing with MSFS weather. We’ll get that fixed for the next update!
