To install into FS2024 can I just copy the flyinside-b206 folder across from my FS2020 community folder or do I need to do a proper install with the installer aimed at my FS2024 community folder ?

If it is the web version (downloaded from us) you can simply copy it across (or create a link) Marketplace versions dont work that way.

It is indeed the web version, I always like to buy direct from devs so they don’t lose any money on store commissions 
and OMG mkdir !!! The numbers of folders I’ve copied from 2020 across to 2024 and had to remember to replace after updates when I could have just linked the 2020 folders … derrrr thank you so much for that idea !
