Saitek X-52 Pro Throttle Won't Work

I realize this may be a “can of worms” and with too many variables
to get a good answer, but here goes…I fly with a few different controllers…
my favorite setup is a T1600 Thrustmaster Flight Stick and the Saitek X-52 Pro
Throttle…this usually works fine for all planes in MSFS latest version (1.16.12,
I believe)…but with the G47, it does not work…the Heli loads, but the “mixture”
controller is set to extremely lean and the engine quickly dies…the mixture
lever cannot be raised with my mouse…the engine resists re-starting…
I am flying with custom settings: 60-60-60…

Any help/thoughts appreciated…John H.

Hi John,

That very much sounds like you have the virtual mixture lever mapped to a physical control axis somewhere and this is preventing you from moving it up to full rich.

Maybe try starting the helo on a runway, with the engines running, and see what happens. If it is a ghost mapping, I’d expect the helo to carry on running just fine, until you either touch the mapped physical axis or go to the ESC menu and resume the flight.

To find a ghost mapping the best bet is to do a search for “mixture” on your assigned controls, for each of your controllers, and either remove it/them or make sure that it/they is set where you need them to be, ie at full rich.

cheers

Paul
