do I misunderstand how the incr and decr labels on the throttle are supposed to be, they seem to me to be reversed.
Turning the throttle to the outside (toward the passenger door) That’s COUNTER clockwise as viewed from your seat is INCREASE, the other way is DECREASE. Opposite from a motorcycle.

Yes, I agree, same as the real helicopter I flew, but the labels say different.
